Saitama foi a jinchuriki que precedeu Han como a hospedeira do Cinco Caudas. Diferentemente de Han, Saitama e Kokuo usualmente possuíam desentendimentos devido às suas personalidades completamente opostas, e tais desentendimentos se tornavam mais comuns quando Saitama perdia o controle sobre Kokuo e o biju era parcialmente liberado. Ainda que fossem diferentes, tanto Saitama quanto Kokuo (intimamente), desejavam um dia entenderem-se melhor, pois mesmo Saitama discordando de quase tudo que Kokuo dizia, ela sempre carregava um golfinho de pelúcia, fazendo referência à cabeça de Kokuo e Kokuo sempre tratava Saitama com respeito, mesmo quando ela o irritava. Saitama morreu alguns anos antes da Terceira Shinobi Guerra Mundial (tendo sido sua morte um dos motivos que levou Kirigakure à guerra) e após sua morte, Kokuo foi capturado e selado por shinobi de Iwagakure dentro de Han.

Saitama foi a primeira jinchuriki que se recusar a aceitar o ódio dos outros cidadãos de seu vilarejo. Ela também foi a segunda jinchuriki a ter seu Biju capturado por outro vilarejo. Kokuo foi selado em Saitama quando ela tinha três anos.

Saitama was the jinchuriki that preceded Han as the host of the Five Tails. Unlike Han, Saitama and Kokuo usually had disagreements due to their completely opposite personalities, and such disagreements became more common when Saitama lost control over Kokuo and the Biju was partially released. Even if they were different, both Saitama as Kokuo (closely), wished one day understand each other better, because even Saitama disagreeing with almost everything that Kokuo said she always carried a plush dolphin, referring to the Kokuo's head and Kokuo always Saitama treated with respect, even when she irritated it. Saitama died some years before the Third Shinobi World War (having beenher death one of the reasons that led Kirigakure to war) and after her death, Kokuo was captured and sealed by Iwagakure shinobi inside Han.

Saitama was the first jinchuriki who refuses to accept the hatred of the other citizens of her village. She was also the second jinchuriki to have her Biju captured by another village. Kokuo was sealed in Saitama when she was three.
